The journey starts at 7 am from Colombo and the drive to Sigiriya will take 5- 6 hours approximately. Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site now and was the palace and pleasure garden of King Kassapa. In the afternoon at around 2 p.m. we recommended you to have your lunch at good restaurant by your driver. After visited Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO world heritage site, this complex dates from the third and second centuries BC. Return to Colombo after wards.
